How to install tag inserter onto paper sheeting machine?

We must first understand what it is to know how to install a tab inserter device.

A tag inserter is a device used in the paper or packaging industry to insert tags or labels into a stack of paper or other materials as they move through a production line. The tag inserter typically works by mechanically grabbing a tag or label from a supply and inserting it into a pre-determined position on the material. The purpose of a tag inserter can vary depending on the specific application, but it is commonly used for labeling products, adding product information, or tracking and identification purposes.

Counting the cutting quantities is the main job of inserters on the RS-D/RS-S/RS-K series paper sheeter machine. It inserts tags or tabs into the stack of paper sheets as a mark. The batch number could be set on the touch screen. Then PLC will release signals once the cutting number reaches 50pcs, 100pcs, 200pcs, or more.

The ribbon paper roll width usually is 12mm. And the paper thickness is 80-120gsm. If too thick, the knife cannot cut off the tag paper. Please well note.

To install a tag inserter on a paper sheeter machine, you should follow these steps:

A. Read the factory insturction: Before installing the tag inserter, make sure to consult manufacturer carefully. It will provide you with information on the specific model and instructions on how to install it.

Above connection is suitable for our RS-D series rotary blade sheeting machine.

E. Test the inserter: Turn on the machine and test the tag inserter to make sure it is functioning properly.

F. Adjust and calibrate: If necessary, adjust and calibrate the tag inserter to ensure it is inserting tags correctly and at the desired location.

It is essential to follow the manufacturer’s instructions carefully to ensure a safe and proper installation. Because of different manufacturer, different tag device wiring and installation positions. If you need clarification on any step, it is best to consult a professional for assistance.
