Introduction of roll paper cutting machine

Roll paper cutting machine makes the paper from the roll shape to the sheet shape. It is being used in industrial work to pack the paper rapidly around the product with a flat sheet of paper or packing paper. It is an advanced base technology based on a machine that has major work to transmission.

It also has basic characteristics such as high speed, rotation, and cutter blade is used to meet the requirement of quality, efficiency, and durability of the product. The high-speed cutting machine could be implemented in industrial machines as well as in automatic cutting system for processing the paper, paperboard, Cardboard and other work that would be helpful to improve the productivity of our organization and also saving the cost.

The tension control system

The tension control system is the ability to control the tension when the raw materials are transported in the machine. Tension Control System is a process that makes sure the material gets a good position invariably without any loss of material quality.

 It is an automatic process that is used to create continuous processes and increasing productivity that is dependent upon the heavy stress on paper tension control to make sure consistent and high-quality results. The tension control system also maintains the predetermined set of amount of stress in the given material between the two points and also maintains the desired outcomes of the quality.

Maintaining proper quality gets increasingly difficult to roll diameter that decreases the changes in the frequent use of it in different operators. The tension control system is required to be controlled by production requirements and it is a type of device for tension controller as it has several advantages of fast responding speed and high accuracy that is easily installed (Li, Bai, Fan, & Zhang, 2016).

Types of tension control

It is based on the four different types of world tension controllers, such as automatic Tension controllers, semi-automatic, web tension controllers, and manual tension controllers. The Tension Control system is composed of a tension controller, tension reader, and tension detector. It could be divided into open loop, closed-loop, and tension control system that to provide better opportunity to transport the raw material into the machine.

Automatic tension controller: A fully automatic tension controller is a high-precision digital intelligent tension controller that provides several benefits in the practical application of the tension controller. It is much more convenient and stable as it has heightened control accuracy that is suitable for different occasions that are required to measure the accuracy of tension control (Eum, Lee, & Nam., 2016).
  2. Web tension control: A control system that controls the tension while transporting a web is known as a web tension control system.  This type is used in roll paper cutting machines. It ensures to control the tension in such a manner that the user can have the maximum production and quality. It ensures that correct tension is maintained for any type of material and the section in use, excluding the effect of the speed or any condition of the process. 


  • It provides a fast controlling system.
  • It provides accurate and reliable control in the transportation of the devices.
  • It maintains the material in the output section.

Operating Tips:

This device has a load cell or a dancer position feedback sensor and it keeps on relaying the change in tension from the web of material to the tension controller directly and thus it maintains the output of a torque device (Chen, Zhang, & Yan., 2018).

Working theory

Web tension control system work with unwind application that controls the diameter and when the roll diameter, decrease the tension implemented to the web will increase and it will increase more rapidly as the roll diameter gets more close to the coil.

When the roll diameter increases or decreases, it must be adjusted to maintain the tension at the optimal level so that it could be controlled with the help of a web tension Control system with relation to roll and control tension. In several descriptions, it is also presented that tension Control system is used to and a mechanical device as it diverts the road of material and also converts the data into the machine.

Tension System Plays an Important Role

It is concluded the attention control system is helpful to manage the material in transportation with the help of a machine. Tension Control System is a process that makes sure the material gets a good position invariably without any loss of material quality. It allows the operators to concentrate on the efforts with the critical areas of process and provide accuracy and fast result. Tension control could allow that the process is performing at a faster speed and also providing reliable and accurate output. It controls the tension of coil materials at a much higher operation speed than of production machine and improves the efficiency of work whilst it also reduces waste. It is mostly used in unwinding processes.
